Tom Spiczka

Mr. Spiczka has 20 years of experience in health care administration. In 2002, he was elected President of the Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA), which has over 700 members. As the former President and CEO of the Institute for Low Back & Neck Care (ILBNC) in Minneapolis, he managed the clinic's operations and focused on strategic planning, community outreach, and marketing programs. He championed outcomes management and patient satisfaction at ILBNC, and shared his experience with MMGMA members and the Minnesota medical community. In addition, he established community outreach programs at six rural clinics and oversaw several clinical trials at ILNBC. Previously, Mr. Spiczka was the Chief Administrative Officer for a medical clinic with five family practice physicians. He oversaw the negotiations related to the sale of this clinic to a major health system. Prior to working in the health care field, he managed regional sales programs and merchandising strategies for International Multifoods and was a contract administrator for Unisys Corporation.
