Angie Lax joined the Ofstead team in 2017. She has conducted infections disease surveillance, and has research experience in adult immunization and molecular biophysics.
Angie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Creighton University. Ms. Lax previously worked on the nursing staff in long-term care and critical care settings, including in a hospital ICU. She is currently completing a Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Minnesota. In addition, Angie conducts infectious disease surveillance at the Minnesota Department of Health in the vaccine-preventable disease unit.
As a Research Associate, Ms. Lax supports Ofstead & Associates by conducting literature reviews, collecting, organizing, and performing data quality checks, and creating summary reports of study results.
