Research Associate

Job Description

Job responsibilities include:

  • Working with a multidisciplinary translational research team focused on initiatives related to public health and the quality of medical care
  • Managing a variety of research projects for multiple clients
  • Performing literature reviews and drafting reports
  • Collecting and analyzing data
  • Sharing research findings to various constituents
  • Participating in meetings and conferences
  • Assisting with the production of project deliverables
  • Developing educational materials and programs
  • Assisting in writing for publication and the regulatory review process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health or science-related field
  • Mastery of scientific research processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter and well-organized

Preferred Skills:

  • Statistical analysis (using Excel or SPSS) and database management experience
  • Experience in public health, health education, epidemiology, infection control, or occupational health

Compensation and Position Requirements:

  • Salary and benefits commensurate with experience
  • This position requires a minimum of 32 hours per week
